John Q. Newman, author of Credit Power , Identity Theft , The Heavy Duty New ID, ID Master and many other books, is one of the country's top information and privacy experts. John Newman worked directly with Trent Sands and have both rated The ID Shop's products, "...the best ID's we have either seen. They are the best ID producers on the internet hands down." His newest book Fake ID's and the Internet & ID Master, reference The ID Shop countless times.
For his book Fake ID's and the Internet , John Q. Newman visited every novelty ID website and purchased their ID's to see who produced the best novelty ID's. He learned four important things: One, 98% of all the sites were scams. Two, the other sites were 'fly by night,' meaning that they are up for a week/month and then disappear with your money. Third, the sites that actually did send you something back was not even worth the "paper" it was printed on. Fourth, The ID Shop was the only site that delivered and stood behind their products. Not only did they deliver but the ID's were the best he had ever seen. Passing this information on to Trent Sands, Sands decided to use The ID Shop's actual ID's as the cover of the book.
John Q. Newman was one of the key speakers at the recent Defcon convention in Las Vegas on identity issues. He is hands down the authority in this field. This year he spoke on "Identity Theft." While speaking he gave The ID Shop his stamp of approval.
